新しい挑戦は、いつも小さな「やってみたい」から始まります。

Creative Guildの仲間たちが生み出した商品やサービスと、その背景にある想いを届けていくギルド・マーケット。今回は、Creative Guildの活動拠点でもある、港区立産業振興センター9Fの「みなとBASE」をご紹介します。人がつながり、新しい挑戦が生まれ、未来のアクションが少しずつ動き出していく、まさに“共創の拠点”。田町駅・三田駅徒歩4分という好立地には、港区だけでなく、日本各地、そして世界へつながる可能性が集まっています。

「みなとBASE」は公共のコワーキングスペースとして運営されており、最大の魅力はその“開かれた使いやすさ”です。港区在住・在勤以外の方でも利用可能。Creative Guildも協力するヨリミチ部をはじめ、多様なイベントやコミュニティ活動、スタートアップ・中小企業支援、人財育成、地域連携、グローバル施策などが日々展開されています。法人登記にも対応しており、単なる作業スペースではなく、“事業を始めるための起点”として活用されています。

さらに、3Dプリンタやレーザー加工機などを活用できるビジネスサポートファクトリーも利用可能。10F・11Fには「みなとSPACE」として大小ホール、会議室、研修室、ワークルームなども整備されており、イベント、セミナー、展示会、交流会など、多様な用途に対応しています。公共施設でありながら、音響・照明設備も本格的で、リーズナブルに利用できることも大きな魅力です。同じビルには港区立三田図書館や行政窓口、スーパーなどもあり、日常と挑戦が自然につながるユニークな環境が整っています。

A Place Where “I Want to Try Something” Slowly Starts Moving
Minato BASE — A Co-Creation Hub Inside the Minato City Industrial Promotion Center

New challenges often begin with a small thought, “I want to try this.”

Guild Market is a Creative Guild initiative that introduces products, services, and the passions behind the people creating them. This time, we’d like to introduce Minato BASE, the coworking space on the 9th floor of the Minato City Industrial Promotion Center — and one of Creative Guild’s own home bases. More than just a workspace, Minato BASE is a place where people connect, new ideas emerge, and future actions gradually begin to move forward. Located only four minutes from Tamachi and Mita stations, it gathers possibilities not only from Minato City, but from across Japan and around the world.

Minato BASE operates as a public coworking space, and its greatest strength is its openness and accessibility. Even people who do not live or work in Minato City can use the facility. A wide range of events and community activities are held there on a regular basis, including Yorimichi Club gatherings supported by Creative Guild, startup and SME support programs, leadership and DX training, global initiatives, and regional collaboration projects. The space also supports corporate registration, making it more than just a hot desk workspace — it functions as a real starting point for launching businesses and new activities.

In addition, users can access the Business Support Factory, equipped with tools such as 3D printers and laser cutting machines for prototyping and creative experimentation. On the 10th and 11th floors, “Minato SPACE” offers halls, meeting rooms, workshop rooms, and multipurpose spaces that can be used for seminars, exhibitions, networking events, workshops, and community gatherings. Although it is a public facility, the sound and lighting systems are highly professional while remaining surprisingly affordable. The same building also includes the Minato City Mita Library, administrative service counters, and even a supermarket — creating a unique environment where everyday life and new challenges naturally connect.

The growing importance of places like Minato BASE reflects larger changes happening in society today. We are moving beyond an era where people simply belong to companies, toward one where individuals actively shape their own careers, projects, and communities. At the same time, society increasingly needs spaces that welcome diverse challenges and support the creation of new value and new futures. Creative Guild itself was born because a place like this existed. Through Yorimichi Club and other activities, connections expanded, collaborations emerged, and many products, services, and cross-regional projects gradually took shape.

But spaces like this are not built by facilities alone. What truly matters is whether people can naturally connect, whether unexpected encounters can happen, and whether people feel safe enough to experiment. Small, consistent actions and supportive relationships are what create the atmosphere that gives Minato BASE its real value.

Using Minato BASE is simple. Registration is free, and users can access the coworking space through affordable drop-in plans. Some Business Support Factory equipment requires training sessions beforehand, while many events are free to join.
