終身雇用が当たり前だった時代から、個人が自分の強みを活かして働き方を選ぶ時代へ。そんな変化の中で、AIは急速に私たちの仕事や暮らしに入り込んでいます。文章を書く、調べる、まとめる、考える、つくる。これまで人間のスキルだと思われていたことをAIが担えるようになる一方で、「自分の仕事は奪われるのではないか」という不安も広がっています。ロボットタクシーや掃除ロボット、生成AIによる業務支援など、少し前までは未来の話だったことが、いま現実になりつつあるのです。

では、どうやってこの時代に向き合っていけばよいのでしょうか。ここで大切になるのが、“問い”を持つ力です。AIが答えを出してくれる時代だからこそ、人間には「何を知りたいのか」「なぜそれをやりたいのか」「誰と、どんな未来をつくりたいのか」を考える力が求められます。正解を覚える力や、言われた作業をこなす力だけではなく、自分の違和感や好奇心を出発点に、自分なりの問いを立て、行動につなげていくこと。それが、これからの“生きる力”になっていくのかもしれません。

動画の中で印象的なのは、AIを単なる脅威として見るのではなく、「AI × ○○」という掛け合わせで捉える視点です。AIパパこと佐藤雄大さんは、自身のテーマとして「AI × 教育」に注目しています。AIに何かを奪われるのではなく、自分の関心や専門性、違和感や好きなことと掛け合わせることで、新しい可能性をつくっていく。AIは人間の代わりになるだけの存在ではなく、「あなたは本当は何をしたいのか？」と問いかけてくる存在でもあるのです。

Starting with this episode, we will introduce each theme through short videos. Before welcoming guest speakers, this first episode begins with the question, “Is AI a threat?” and features a conversation between personality Tetsuya Miki and “AI Papa” Yuta Sato about the power we need to live in the age of AI.

We have moved from an era where lifetime employment was taken for granted to one where individuals choose how to work by making the most of their strengths. Amid this shift, AI is rapidly entering our work and daily lives. Writing, researching, summarizing, thinking, creating—many things once considered human skills can now be performed by AI. At the same time, many people are beginning to feel anxious, wondering whether their jobs might be taken away.

So how should we face this new era? One key lies in the ability to ask questions. In an age where AI can provide answers, humans are increasingly asked to consider what they truly want to know, why they want to do something, and with whom they want to create the future. The power to live from here may not simply be the ability to memorize answers or complete assigned tasks, but the ability to start from one’s own curiosity or discomfort, form meaningful questions, and turn them into action.

One of the most striking ideas in the video is to see AI not simply as a threat, but as something to combine with our own themes: “AI × something.” Yuta Sato, known as AI Papa, focuses on “AI × education” as his own theme. Rather than thinking only about what AI might take away, we can combine AI with our interests, expertise, questions, and passions to create new possibilities. AI is not only a tool that replaces human work; it may also be a presence that asks us, “What do you really want to do?”
