行ってみた！チャンネル：　ローラーホッケー大会に行ってみた！
はじめてでも楽しめるスピード感あふれるスポーツ体験

Creative Guildのつながりから生まれた取材メディア「行ってみた！チャンネル」。今回は、一般社団法人ワールドスケートジャパンの許可をいただき、大学生による東日本学生ローラーホッケー大会新人戦を取材。その様子を記録したコンテンツをご紹介します。「ローラーホッケーって何？」という方でも大丈夫。まずは現場の雰囲気から触れてみてください。

ローラーホッケーは、アイスホッケーをルーツに持ち、氷のない場所でもプレーできるように発展してきたスポーツです。今回の動画で扱っているのは、インラインスケートを使ったスタイルで、軽快な動きとスピード感のある展開が特徴です。ルールもシンプルで、スティックを使ってボールを相手のゴールに入れ、得点を競います。試合は前後半に分かれて行われることが多く、限られた時間の中で攻守が目まぐるしく入れ替わるため、テンポよく進んでいきます。

実際の試合では、「テンポが上がってない」「もうちょい回していいんじゃない？」といった声が飛び交い、選手同士がリアルタイムで判断しながらプレーしている様子が伝わってきます。こうしたやり取りも含めて体感できるのが、この動画の面白さです。スピード感のある展開と、瞬時の判断、チームでの連携が重なり合うことで、観ている側も自然と引き込まれていきます。

Itte Mita Channel: We Went to a Roller Hockey Tournament!A Fast-Paced Sports Experience Even First-Timers Can Enjoy

Born from the Creative Guild community, “Itte Mita Channel” is a new interview-based media project. In this episode, with permission from World Skate Japan, we visited a university roller hockey tournament and documented the experience on site.

If you’re wondering, “What is roller hockey?”—no worries. Just start by experiencing the atmosphere.

Roller hockey originates from ice hockey and evolved as a sport that can be played without ice. The style featured in this video is inline hockey, played on inline skates, known for its light, agile movement and fast-paced gameplay. The rules are simple: players use sticks to score by getting the ball into the opponent’s goal. Games are typically played in two halves, and because of the limited time, the flow of play shifts quickly, creating a dynamic and engaging rhythm.

What makes this video especially interesting is not just the gameplay itself, but the real-time communication on the field. You can hear voices like, “The tempo isn’t there yet,” or “We can move it around a bit more,” as players constantly make decisions and adjust their strategies. These interactions allow you to experience the game not just as a spectator, but as if you were part of the moment.

The appeal of this kind of speed isn’t just about how fast the players move. It’s about the continuous cycle of decision-making within a limited time frame. As you watch, you naturally start anticipating what will happen next—what choices will be made, how the play will unfold.
