港区を起点にいろんなところで働く・暮らす、楽しい時間を創りたい人たちによるコミュニティCreative Guild。このギルド名鑑ではそんなCreative Guildでつながったユニークな方々をご紹介しています。今回ご紹介するのは、エスヴァリュー株式会社　代表取締役の粕谷 正雄さん。いくつになってもが自分らしく社会と関わり続けるための“安全と創造”のあるサードプレイスで、人と知を繋ぎ続けています。

粕谷さんは大手SI企業にてシステム事業に長年携わり、流通・情報サービス・製造など幅広い分野で現場に入り込み、業務と技術をつなぐ中で培ったのは、単なる開発力ではなく“人と知をつなぐ力”でした。2014年にエスヴァリュー株式会社を設立後は、その経験を活かし、システムコンサルや人財支援を提供。さらに、家庭でも職場でもない、自分らしく在れるサードプレイスの場づくりにも取り組み、その１つは月に２回ほど、銀座の店舗を借りて分野や年代を超えたユニークな交流の機会を生み出しています。

そんな粕谷さんが大事にしているのは、「安全と創造」という一見対照的にも見える価値観です。人が安心して自分を出せる“安全な場”があるからこそ、率直な対話や探究が生まれ、新しいアイデアや行動といった“創造”へとつながっていきます。これは単なる居心地の良さではなく、人と人との信頼関係の中で知が共有され、次の価値が生まれる土壌でもあります。その結果、年齢や立場に関係なく、人と知をつなぎながら、自分らしく社会と関わり続ける姿を実現することを可能にしているのです。

人生100年時代と言われる今、私たちは本当にその時間を活かしきれているのでしょうか。長年培ってきた経験や知識がありながらも、「もういい」と自ら可能性に蓋をしてしまったり、社会との接点を失ってしまったりしている現実があります。年齢を重ねることで、本来持っている価値が発揮されないまま埋もれてしまうとしたら、それは個人にとっても、社会にとっても大きな損失です。だとするならば、私たちはこれまでの経験をどのように次につなげ、どのように自分らしく社会と関わり続けていけるのでしょうか。

粕谷さんの取り組みは、単に年齢に関係なく活躍できる場を社会に広げることにとどまりません。人と人との関係性を起点に知を共有し、つなぎ直していくことで、これまで分断されていた経験や価値を、再び社会の中に循環させていくこと。それは、あらゆる壁を越え、多様性を尊重しながら、互いに学び合い、支え合う社会の本来的なあり方を示しています。もちろん、一足飛びに大きな成果をもたらすものではないかもしれません。しかし、地道に、そして確実に、誰もが当事者として社会に関わり、未来を築いていく営みへとつながっていきます。粕谷さんの取り組みは、その歩みを続けていくことの大切さを、静かに私たちに問いかけているのかもしれません。

In this Guild Directory, we introduce unique individuals connected through Creative Guild. This time, we feature Masao Kasuya, CEO of S-Value Co., Ltd. Through a “safe and creative” third place, he continues to connect people and knowledge, enabling individuals to stay engaged with society in their own way—no matter their age.

Kasuya spent many years in a major SI company, working in system businesses across diverse industries such as distribution, finance, and manufacturing. By immersing himself in real-world operations and bridging business processes with technology, he cultivated not just technical expertise, but a deeper ability: the power to connect people and knowledge. After founding S-Value Co., Ltd. in 2014, he leveraged this experience to provide system consulting and talent support. At the same time, he began creating a third place beyond home and workplace, where people can simply be themselves. A few times each month, he hosts gatherings in Ginza, offering unique opportunities for interaction that transcend industries and generations.

At the core of Kasuya’s philosophy lies the seemingly contrasting values of “safety and creativity.” Only when people feel safe enough to express themselves can honest dialogue and genuine inquiry emerge—leading to new ideas and actions, in other words, creation. This is not merely about comfort. It is about building a foundation where knowledge is shared through trust-based human relationships, allowing new value to continuously emerge. As a result, regardless of age or position, people are empowered to connect with others and with knowledge, and remain actively engaged in society in their own way.

In today’s era of 100-year lifespans, are we truly making the most of our time? Despite having accumulated rich experience and knowledge, many people find themselves saying, “I’m done,” closing off their own potential or losing touch with society. If the value we inherently possess becomes buried simply due to age, it represents a significant loss—not only for individuals, but for society as a whole. If that is the case, how can we carry our past experiences forward, and continue to engage with society in a way that is true to ourselves?

Kasuya’s work goes beyond simply expanding opportunities for people to stay active regardless of age. By reconnecting people through human relationships and sharing knowledge, he helps circulate once-fragmented experiences and values back into society.

This approach points toward a more fundamental vision of society—one that transcends boundaries, respects diversity, and fosters mutual learning and support. Of course, such efforts may not produce immediate, large-scale results. However, through steady and continuous practice, they lead to a way of living where everyone becomes an active participant in shaping the future. Perhaps what Kasuya’s work quietly reminds us is the importance of continuing this journey—one step at a time.
