Creative Guild。このギルド名鑑では、そんなCreative Guildでつながったユニークな方々をご紹介しています。今回ご紹介するのは、カイト株式会社で、50歳からの安心コミュニティ「おしるこ」の展開に携わる江戸 舞さん。人生100年時代の後半戦を一人ひとりがその人らしく楽しめるよう、つながりと挑戦の機会を通じた新しい人生デザインに取り組んでいます。
東京藝術大学を卒業後、印刷会社などを経て、カイト株式会社に入社した江戸 舞さん。現在は、2018年にスタートした50歳からのオンラインコミュニティ「おしるこ」の価値拡大に取り組んでいます。「おしるこ」は、50歳以上限定・本人確認制で、安心・安全に新しいつながりを築くためのサービスとして展開され、現在は11万人以上のユーザーが利用。オンラインでの交流に加え、リアルな場でのつながりづくりにも広がっています。
そんな江戸さんが大事にしているのは、「その人らしさ」です。年齢や肩書き、社会的なラベルによって人の可能性を決めつけるのではなく、一人ひとりが持つユニークな個性に目を向け、最大限に尊重すること。なぜならそうすることで、いくつになっても、その時代や環境に合わせた、
その人なりの人生の楽しみ方を見つけることができるから。一方で「その人らしさ」を現実的にどうカタチにしていくかという視点も大切にしています。だからこそ、AIをはじめとするテクノロジーにも強い関心を持ち、「おしるこ」の場を通じて、その活用にも積極的に取り組んでいます。
その人らしさを守り、何歳になっても自分なりに人生を楽しんでいくためには、安心して社会とつながれる土台が欠かせません。しかし現実には、孤立や分断が加速し、社会課題はより複雑になっています。従来の行政施策だけでは十分に届かず、個人の善意に頼るにも限界があります。
しかも私たちは、誰も経験したことがない人生100年時代を生きています。前半戦の50年には多くのロールモデルがある一方で、後半戦の50年については、まだ見えていないことがあまりにも多いのかもしれません。
人生の後半戦50年をいかにデザインしていくか。これは、現代社会を生きる私たち一人ひとりにとって重要なテーマです。もちろん、そこに絶対的な正解はありません。大切なのは、一人ひとりがその人らしい人生の楽しみ方を築いていくこと。そして江戸さんが関わる「おしるこ」は、50歳以上の方がその必要性と可能性を見つめ直し、つながり、支え合い、試行錯誤を重ねながら実践していく場です。もちろん、このアプローチは50歳未満の私たちにも必要なもの。だからこそCreative Guildの場でも、「おしるこ」の実践にならいながら、何歳になっても自分らしく楽しめる未来に地道に貢献していきたいですね。

Help People Find Their Own Way to Enjoy Life
Creative Guild is a community of people who live and work in many different places,
with Minato City as a starting point, and who want to create joyful moments together.
In this Guild Directory, we introduce the unique individuals connected through Creative Guild.
This time, we feature Mai Edo of CAYTO, Inc., who is involved in developing “Oshiruco,” a secure community for people aged 50 and over. Through opportunities to connect and take on new challenges, she is helping people design the second half of a 100-year life in ways that feel authentic and enjoyable to them.
After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, Edo worked at a printing company and in other roles before joining CAYTO, Inc. Today, she focuses on expanding the value of Oshiruco, an online community launched in 2018 for people aged 50 and over. Limited to people aged 50 and above and supported by an identity-verification system, Oshiruco is designed to help members build new relationships with confidence and peace of mind. The community now has more than 110,000 members, and its activities are growing beyond online interaction to include opportunities for meaningful connection in real-life settings.
What Edo values most is each person’s individuality. Rather than defining people by age, title, or social labels, she seeks to recognize and fully respect the unique qualities of every individual.
She believes this allows people to discover their own way of enjoying life at any age, in ways that suit their circumstances and the times they live in. At the same time, she places equal importance on turning that individuality into something real and practical. This is why she is deeply interested in AI and other technologies and is actively exploring how they can be used through the Oshiruco community.
To protect each person’s individuality and enable people to enjoy life in their own way at any age,
society needs a secure foundation for meaningful connection. Yet isolation and division are accelerating, while social challenges are becoming increasingly complex. Conventional public measures cannot reach everyone, and there are limits to what can be sustained through individual goodwill alone. We are also entering an age of 100-year lives—an era no previous generation has fully experienced. While there are many role models for the first 50 years of life, there is still far too much we do not yet understand about the second 50.
How can we design the second half of a 100-year life? This is an important question for every one of us. There is, of course, no single correct answer. What matters is that each person can build a way of enjoying life that feels true to who they are. Oshiruco is a place where people aged 50 and over can reflect on both the need and the possibilities, connect with others, support one another, and learn through ongoing experimentation. This approach matters to those of us under 50 as well. By learning from Oshiruco’s practice, Creative Guild also hopes to keep making steady contributions toward a future in which everyone can enjoy life in their own way, at any age.
