港区を起点にいろんなところで働く・暮らす、楽しい時間を創りたい人たちによるコミュニティCreative Guild。このギルド名鑑ではそんなCreative Guildでつながったユニークな方々をご紹介しています。今回ご紹介するのは、ニチベイ・ソリューションズ ファウンダーのダニエル・シンガーさん。言葉と文化の壁を越えて“ホンモノ”の価値で、日本と世界とつなぎ、想像を超えた創造を生み出すための挑戦を続けています。

アメリカ出身で、青山学院大学に留学経験もあるダニエル・シンガーさん。日本とアメリカ、両方の文化の中で学びを深めてきました。2023年には「ニチベイ・ソリューションズ」を設立し、海外企業の日本市場参入を支援するほか、日本と世界をつなぐ多様な取り組みを展開しています。現在は、海外から見た日本のステレオタイプを乗り越えるべく、“ホンモノ”の日本文化や価値観を世界に伝える活動にも力を入れています。

そんなダニエルさんが大切にしているのは、一人ひとりの中にある“ひと”としての根源。それは「ソース」や「魂」とも呼ばれる精神性であり、表面的な国籍や肩書、年齢にとらわれることなく、相手の奥底にある“真意”をくみ取ることで見えてくるものです。そして、その精神性で人と人を純粋につなぎ合わせることで、想像を超えた創造を生み出していく。そんな在り方をご自身の核に据え、日々の実践につなげています。

ダニエルさんが伝えたい“ホンモノ”の日本の価値とは、日本の文化的背景に根ざした精神性にほかなりません。自然との共生や人との調和を重んじる姿勢など、独自の自然環境と歴史の中で育まれてきた、本質的で繊細な価値です。ところが現代の日本では、この精神性を語ることがどこか避けられ、緩やかに希薄になりつつある現実があります。それは誤解やすれ違いを生み、国内外のつながりを阻む要因にもなっています。

いま必要なのは、本質を見つめ、話し合っている二人が理解し合おうとすること。それによって初めて、何を変え、何を融合でき、何を守るべきかが見えてきます。そして互いの違いを楽しみながら、新たな可能性の扉を開くことができます。ダニエルさんの取り組みは、まさにその実践であり、Creative Guildが掲げるキーワード“友達最強”を体現するアプローチでもあります。となればCreative Guildとしてはまずダニエルさん、そしてその先にいる多様な人たちとつながること。そして“ホンモノ”の探求と、想像を超えた創造として“楽しい”から始まる未来づくり、みんなでやっていきましょう！

Daniel Singer’s Bold Pursuit of Imagination Beyond Boundaries

Creative Guild is a Tokyo-based community of people who work, live, and dream of creating fun, fulfilling moments across boundaries. In this Guild Directory, we feature unique individuals who are part of this vibrant network. Today, we are honored to introduce Daniel Singer, founder of Nichibei Solutions. Through his work, Daniel continues to challenge the limits of cross-cultural understanding, connecting Japan and the world through authentic values that transcend language, culture, and expectations.

Originally from the United States, Daniel studied at the University of Washington & at Aoyama Gakuin University and has since deepened his learning across both American and Japanese cultures. In 2023, he founded Nichibei Solutions, a company that assists overseas businesses in the Japanese market. He is also involved in a wide range of projects that bridge Japan and the world. One of his current missions is to dismantle the current stereotypes & miscommunications between Japanese and foreigners and share more of the authentic spirit of Japanese culture with the world.

What Daniel values most is the essence of being human—the inner source, or what one might call the “spirit” or “soul.” Beyond surface-level attributes like nationality, title, or age, he seeks to connect with people at a deeper level, engaging with their true intentions. Through this lens, Daniel brings people together with sincerity, fostering creative potential that goes beyond imagination—this way of being lies at the heart of everything he does.

The authentic value of Japan that Daniel seeks to convey is rooted in its cultural spirit—an appreciation for harmony with nature and with others, nurtured by Japan’s unique environment and history. Yet in contemporary Japan, this kind of spirituality is often left unspoken and is slowly fading into the background of a louder more foreign facing Japanese society. This unspoken gap can lead to misunderstandings and become a barrier to deeper connections, both within Japan and across borders.

What we need now is the courage to look at the essence of things—and to understand it through the lens of the person we’re communicating with. Only then can we have honest and transparent conversations to see what can change, what can be synthesized, and what must be preserved, and why. And with that understanding, we can begin to enjoy our differences and unlock new possibilities together. Daniel’s work embodies this very practice, perfectly aligning with the Creative Guild’s core value: Friendship is our greatest strength.
