港区を起点にいろんなところで働く・暮らす、楽しい時間を創りたい人たちによるコミュニティCreative Guild。このギルド名鑑ではそんなCreative Guildでつながったユニークな方々をご紹介しています。今回ご紹介するのは、今回ご紹介するのは、北九州を拠点とする、フォトグラファーで有限会社FU.代表取締役の木寺 一路さんです。「好きを楽しむ、心を撮る、そしてつなぐ。」ことをコンセプトに、あらゆる壁を越えて未来へとつなぐ“触媒”としての写真を届け続けています。

幼いころから家族の影響を受けてアートに関心を持っていた木寺さんは、25歳の頃偶然写真の世界と出会いました。その後、フォトグラファーとしての修業を積み、2001年フォトスタジオFU. を設立。現在は、ファミリー写真、ブライダル撮影などのプライベートなものから、広告・モデル撮影などのビジネス向けまでの活動を幅広く全国で展開。写真にその瞬間のひとの心の記憶を収めていくスタイルは、分野や世代を超えて多くの人々を魅了しています。

そんな木寺さんが大切にしているのは、“らしさ”。それは、一人ひとりが「今を生きる人間」として、本来的に“普通”な生き方をすることです。自分の“好き”をちゃんと知り、互いの“好き”を尊重しながら、みんなで“楽しい”を創造していく――そんな前向きな社会のつながり。それは、日本人にとってかつて当たり前のように文化として根付いていたものかもしれません。そして木寺さんは、その“心が動く瞬間”を写真というかたちで記録し、地域や立場を超えた人のつながりを築きながら、次の時代へその心を引き継いでいくことに、フォトグラファーとしての情熱を注いでいます。

先行きの見通せない現代社会では、不安が先に立ち、予定調和の中で「できること」だけをこなす生き方が蔓延しています。答えのあるものばかり選んでしまい、自分の“好き”を表現することすらためらってしまう。組織では古いパラダイムの評価軸が残り、新しい価値観や創造性を亜流として扱う。一方で表に出てくるものも派手さや映えに囚われてしまい、そこに込められた心の記録や、人生の意味を読み取ることができない。いわゆる閉塞感が強まっているのです。

Creative Guild is a community born in Minato City, Tokyo, where people gather to work, live, and enjoy time together. This time, we feature Ichiro Kidera, a photographer based in Kitakyushu and the representative director of FU Inc. With the concept of “Enjoy what you love, capture the heart, and connect,” Kidera continues to deliver photography as a catalyst that transcends boundaries and connects us to the future.

Influenced by his family, Kidera developed an early interest in art and encountered the world of photography at the age of 25. After years of training as a professional photographer, he founded Photo Studio FU. in 2001. Today, his work ranges from personal shoots like family and bridal photography to commercial assignments such as advertising and modeling. His unique style—capturing the emotional memory of a moment—resonates with people across generations and industries.

What Kidera values most is authenticity—“being true to yourself.” For him, this means living an inherently “ordinary” human life. It is about truly understanding your own “likes,” respecting others’, and co-creating joyful experiences together. Such ways of being were once deeply rooted in Japanese culture. Kidera’s photography captures those fleeting moments when hearts are moved, building bridges between people across communities and backgrounds, and preserving these emotional truths for future generations.

In a world full of uncertainty, many people find themselves trapped in routines—only doing what they’re expected to do, choosing what has a clear answer, and hesitating to express their own passions. Outdated evaluation systems still dominate organizations, and new forms of creativity are often dismissed as non-mainstream. At the same time, public expressions tend to prioritize flashy visuals over meaningful depth, making it difficult for people to recognize and connect with the emotional essence behind them. This deepens the sense of stagnation in our society.
