港区を起点に、いろんなところで働く・暮らす、楽しい時間を創りたい人たちによるコミュニティCreative Guild。このギルド名鑑では、そんなCreative Guildでつながったユニークな方々をご紹介しています。今回ご紹介するのは、LinkedIn Japanでインサイトアナリストとして活躍する木村 誓一郎さん。プリコラージュの発想で、データと対話を通じた「次の選択肢」を“ひと”に、組織に、そして社会に届ける挑戦を続けています。

北九州出身の木村さんは、国内の大手企業でキャリアをスタートし、コロンビアやメキシコなどの中南米の現地で営業や事業開発に携わってきました。文化や制度の異なる環境での経験を経て、グローバルIT企業を渡り歩き、現在はLinkedInでインサイトアナリストとして活躍しています。多様なデータをもとに、企業や個人の行動、ネットワーク構造を分析し、成長や変化につながる示唆を提供。プライベートでは、こうした知見を活かし、サッカーチームのサポートにも関わっています。

そんな木村さんが大事にしているのは、「足るを知る」精神です。それは、今あるものの価値を棚卸しし、さまざまな視点を取り込みながら、新しい可能性を見出していくプリコラージュ的なアプローチでもあります。だからこそ、従来の枠組みや前提に囚われず、ものごとをフラットに捉えることを重視しています。そのための有効なツールがデータであり、データに込められた意図を読み解き実践へとつなげていくための手段が対話。その結果としてもたらされるものが、「次の選択肢」なのです。

いま私たちの社会には、「正解を早く出すこと」「短期の成果を示すこと」が、過度に求められているのかもしれません。その結果、精神論や経験則に頼ったまま試行錯誤や実験が避けられ、無自覚のうちに、ひとや組織が本来持つ学習力や創造性を制限してしまっています。しかし、先の見えない時代だからこそ必要なのは、完璧な答えではないはずです。重要なのは、小さな実験を続けていくことなのではないでしょうか。

木村さんの、対話とデータを通じて「次の選択肢」を見出していくアプローチは、まさに本質を探究していくための小さな実験です。その結果を積み上げ、組み合わせていくプリコラージュ的な発想は、一人ひとりの人生を豊かに彩り、そのつながりが組織の可能性を最大化し、やがて社会にポジティブなインパクトをもたらします。そしてそれは、特別な誰かだけのものではありません。無理なく、地道に、想いを起点に誰もが取り組める、“楽しい”から始まる未来づくりの一つの形。人生のプリコラージュ、みんなでやっていきたいですね。

A Challenge to Curate Life as a Bricolage — Seiichiro Kimura at LinkedIn Japan

Creative Guild is a community rooted in Minato City, bringing together people who enjoy working and living across different places while creating meaningful and enjoyable moments along the way. In this Guild Directory, we introduce unique individuals connected through Creative Guild. This time, we feature Seiichiro Kimura, an Insights Analyst at LinkedIn Japan, who continues to explore how data and dialogue can open up the next set of choices for individuals, organizations, and society as a whole—through what he calls a “bricolage” approach to life.

Born in Kitakyushu, Japan, Kimura began his career at a major Japanese corporation before moving into sales and business development roles across Latin America, including countries such as Colombia and Mexico. Working on the ground in culturally and institutionally diverse environments shaped his perspective on how context, systems, and human relationships influence decision-making. After gaining experience at global IT companies, he joined LinkedIn, where he now analyzes behavioral and network data to provide insights that support growth and change for both organizations and individuals. Outside of work, he also applies these insights to support a local soccer team, bridging professional knowledge with personal passion.

At the core of Kimura’s thinking is the idea of “knowing what is enough.” Rather than constantly chasing what is missing, he focuses on reassessing the value of what already exists, incorporating diverse perspectives, and discovering new possibilities—an approach he describes as bricolage. This mindset allows him to look at things without being constrained by conventional frameworks or assumptions. For Kimura, data is a powerful tool to reveal hidden patterns and intentions, while dialogue is the means to translate those insights into real-world action. Together, they help surface what matters most: the next choice.

Today’s society often emphasizes finding the “right answer” quickly and delivering short-term results. As a result, experimentation and trial-and-error are frequently avoided, and—often without realizing it—we end up limiting the natural capacity for learning and creativity within people and organizations.
