YORIMICHI Club November Session
Thursday 5 November 2026 at 6:30 PM JST
Well-being?
Healthy connections, for everyone.
A conversation that helps you feel a little more at ease. Someone who listens to what matters to you. Access to the information you need to make your own choices. What might these everyday connections tell us about well-being?
This YORIMICHI Club session is about healthy connections. We will welcome four guests whose work touches people’s everyday lives through dentistry, learning and dialogue, coaching, and accessible communication. Together, we will explore connections in which everyone can take part and be themselves.
No specialist knowledge is needed. Start with something familiar: a person you feel comfortable talking to, or a moment when you wished you had someone to turn to. Join us for a relaxed, enjoyable, and thoughtful conversation on an autumn evening.

About the Theme
The situations in which we feel connected, or find it difficult to take part, differ from person to person. Feeling heard and being able to find the information we need can make a difference. By looking at these small, everyday conditions, we will explore ways to make healthy connections accessible to everyone.
At 6:55 PM, dentist Keiji Udagawa will give a short pitch. Starting with eating and oral care, he will introduce an initiative that explores the connections between everyday life and health. He will share the idea he is developing, including questions he hopes to investigate further.
At 7:05 PM, Tomoe Ueyama, Heather Dobbin, and Mitsunori Yokoyama will join him for introductions and a four-person conversation. We will bring together perspectives on dialogue that helps us notice what matters to us, relationships in which we feel safe, and access to information that supports our own choices. With participants, we will explore the ways we relate to one another and the small changes that can help healthy connections grow.
Questions to Explore Together
- When has a connection with someone recently helped you feel safe or able to be yourself?
- What helps us support one another in everyday care and life without putting too much pressure on anyone?
- Could the way we share information or organize a space make it harder for some people to take part?
- What small changes could help everyone make their own choices and participate in these connections?
You are welcome to share your experiences or simply listen. We hope the conversation offers a small idea or connection you can take back into your everyday life.
Who Might Enjoy This Session
- Anyone who would like to pause and reflect on how they live or work
- People interested in health, learning, relationships, or creating environments where more people can participate
- Anyone who would like to meet people from different fields and enjoy a conversation
