デミーザさんは新卒でNTTに就職。その後、結婚を機に退社しロンドンへ移住。主婦生活を経て在英日系企業向け法人営業として復職しました。帰国後はマイクロソフトに入社し、アカウント営業・ソリューション営業・パートナー営業などで活躍する一方、MBAと国家資格キャリアコンサルタントも取得。そして「縁をつむぎ、温もりを伝播する」という自身のパーパスに行き着き、縁＝Linkageの精神を体現するLinkedInへ。現在は“ひと”を起点に、企業の変革と成長を多様な仲間たちと共に支えています。

そんなデミーザさんが大切にしているのは、一人の人として人を“信じる力”です。それは他者を信じるだけでなく、自分自身の選択を信じ、どんな環境でも自分の軸で生きるという姿勢。「自分を大切にすることが、誰かを大切にすることにつながる」という想いのもと、人を管理するのではなく、信頼し、余白をつくり、可能性を引き出すリーダーシップを実践しています。そしてその地道な継続でつながりを紡ぎ、偶然のような幸運=セレンディピティによる、温かい価値を必然的に創発し続けています。

In this Guild Directory, we highlight the unique individuals connected through Creative Guild. This time, we feature Mika Demeza, who leads Enterprise Sales at LinkedIn Japan. Centered on the “power of trust,” Mika connects people across fields, generations, and regions through steady effort and serendipity, creating warm and lasting possibilities for the next generation.

After graduating from university, Mika began her career at NTT. Following her marriage, she left the company and moved to London, where she re-entered the workforce as a corporate sales professional for Japanese companies operating in the UK. Upon returning to Japan, she joined Microsoft, taking on roles in account management, solution sales, and partner engagement while also earning an MBA and becoming a nationally certified career consultant. Eventually, she arrived at her personal purpose — “weaving connections and spreading warmth” — and joined LinkedIn, a company whose very name embodies the spirit of “linkage.” Today, she works with diverse colleagues to support business transformation and growth by putting people at the center.

What Mika values most, both as a professional and as a human being, is the power to trust. For her, this means not only believing in others but also believing in one’s own choices and living by one’s principles, no matter the circumstances. Guided by the belief that “caring for yourself is what enables you to care for others,” she practices a leadership style that empowers rather than controls — creating space, fostering trust, and drawing out each person’s potential.
