パーソナリティを務めるのは、人やビジネスの“面白さ”を独自の角度から引き出す幹てつやさん。そして、AIやデジタルを身近な学びとして届ける“AIパパ”ことザックさん（佐藤雄大さん）です。引き続きゲストは、CARBONE ALCHEMY株式会社 代表取締役の小笠原愛さん。シリーズ最終回となる今回は、これまでの対話を学習した「AI小笠原愛」が登場し、ご本人とAIが対話するという、少し未来的で、でもとても人間的な回になっています。
今回、小笠原さんがAIの自分に投げかけた問いは、ビジネスの成功だけにとどまりません。「人生を通して、どういう道に進めば心から満足できるのか」。この問いに対して、AI小笠原愛は、何かを達成すること以上に、その過程で自分が自然体でいられること、周囲と循環しながら進んでいると感じられることが大切だと答えます。つまり、どの道を選ぶか以上に、どう在るかが大事だということ。これまで小笠原さんが語ってきた、自然の流れを信じ、不安や恐怖を抱えながらも前へ進み、変化そのものを楽しむ生き方が、AIによって美しく言語化されていきます。
人工ダイヤモンド事業についても、AIは現実を冷静に見つめます。プロトタイプの開発、資金調達、社会への価値の届け方。決して簡単な道ではありません。しかし、それでも「このダイヤが環境への問いを生み出し、大きな循環をつくる」という信念は変わらない。もしうまくいかなかったとしても、それは終わりではなく、新しい流れを生むきっかけになる。大切なのは、「循環」という軸はブラさずに、そこへ向かうアプローチを柔軟に変えていくことなのだと語られます。この視点には、失敗を恐れすぎず、流れの一部として受け止める小笠原さんらしいしなやかさがあります。
さらに印象的なのは、小笠原さん自身が語る「流れは作るものではなく、すでにある流れに乗るもの」という感覚です。ビジネスの世界では、自分でトレンドを作る、ムーブメントを起こす、という言葉がよく使われます。でも小笠原さんにとっては、少し違います。自然や世界の中には、すでに大きな流れがある。その流れを感じ取り、必要な方向へ少しだけ舵を切る。自分と自然を切り離さず、世界と一緒に動いているような感覚。これまでの見切り発車や、奇跡のような出会いの連続も、実はこの“流れに乗る力”から生まれていたのかもしれません。
そして今回、もう一つの大きな見どころが、小笠原さんの意外な夢です。それは、「部族と暮らすこと」。アマゾンやアフリカのような、人間のルーツや自然との共生を肌で感じられる場所に行き、現地の人々と暮らし、食べ物を調達し、自然の中で生きる感覚を体験したいと語ります。しかも、ただ観光として行きたいのではありません。自然と共に生きる人々のマインドや、真に自然と共生するとはどういうことなのかを、体感レベルで受け取り、それを言葉にして社会に伝えていきたいのです。過去には、ツテがない中で自力で道を切り拓き、マサイ族の家に泊まったこともあるというエピソードも飛び出し、その行動力に思わず驚かされます。
危険はないのか、不安はないのか。そう問われた小笠原さんは、しっかり準備はするとしたうえで、「怖い」と思って行くのではなく、「楽しそう！」という気持ちで行くと語ります。恐れに飲み込まれるのではなく、ワクワクに変えて前へ進む。その姿勢は、これまでの起業や環境事業への向き合い方とも重なります。お金儲けのために環境を語るのではなく、地球の循環を取り戻したいという本気の願いがあり、そのための手段としてビジネスがある。だからこそ、小笠原さんの言葉には、どこか“本物”の迫力があります。

Talking with Her AI Self: The Unexpected Dream of an Entrepreneur Creating Diamonds

The program is hosted by Tetsuya Miki, who brings out the “interesting” side of people and business from his own unique angle, and Zack, also known as AI Papa Yuta Sato, who makes AI and digital technology feel accessible as tools for learning. Continuing from the previous episodes, the guest is Ai Ogasawara, CEO of CARBONE ALCHEMY Inc. In this final episode of the series, “AI Ai Ogasawara,” an AI that has learned from all the previous conversations and traces her values and way of thinking, appears. Through a dialogue between Ogasawara-san herself and her AI self, the episode becomes both futuristic and deeply human.
The question Ogasawara-san asks her AI self is not only about business success. She asks, “What kind of path should I take in life to feel truly satisfied?” The AI responds that achievement is important, but true satisfaction comes from being able to remain natural throughout the process and feel that one is moving in circulation with the people and world around them. In other words, the destination itself may matter less than how one exists along the way. The AI beautifully puts into words the way Ogasawara-san has lived: trusting the flow of nature, moving forward even with anxiety and fear, and enjoying change itself.
The AI also looks at the artificial diamond business with clear realism. There are still many challenges, including prototype development, fundraising, and how to communicate the value to society. It is by no means an easy path. Yet the belief remains unchanged: this diamond can raise questions about the environment and create a larger cycle of circulation. Even if things do not go as planned, failure is not the end. It becomes a new starting point for another flow. What matters is to keep the core axis of circulation steady while flexibly changing the approach. This perspective reflects Ogasawara-san’s resilience: she does not treat failure as something final, but as part of a living flow.
Another memorable point is Ogasawara-san’s own sense that flow is not something she creates, but something she rides. In business, people often talk about creating trends or building movements. But for Ogasawara-san, the feeling is different. There is already a larger flow within nature and the world. She senses that flow and gently steers it in the necessary direction. She does not separate herself from nature; she moves together with the world. Perhaps this is the deeper source behind her seemingly spontaneous actions and the many unexpected encounters that have shaped her journey.
In this episode, she also reveals an unexpected dream: to live with a tribe. She wants to go to places such as the Amazon or Africa, where she can feel humanity’s roots and experience life in direct connection with nature. She wants to live with local people, gather food, and experience the sense of living in the wild. This is not simply tourism. She wants to understand, at the level of direct experience, how people who live with nature think and what true coexistence with nature really means. Then she wants to put that experience into words and share it with the world. She even shares a surprising story of having once found her own way, without any special connections, to stay in a Maasai home.
Is she not afraid of the danger? Ogasawara-san says that she will prepare carefully, but she does not want to go with a mindset of fear. Instead, she wants to go with the feeling, “This sounds exciting!” Rather than being swallowed by fear, she turns it into curiosity and moves forward. This attitude overlaps with the way she approaches entrepreneurship and environmental work. She is not using environmental issues as a way to make money. She has a genuine desire to restore the circulation of the Earth, and business is one of the means to do so. That is why her words carry a sense of authenticity.
