余白があると、つながりの入り口が増えるね｜「ヨハクさんいるけど、来る？」コミュ・ラボ初回OPEN DAY 開催レポート

2026年9月28日（月）の昼休み、「ヨハクさんいるけど、来る？」コミュ・ラボ初回OPEN DAYをオンラインで開催しました。

実は、この対話は毎週、昼休みに続けているもの。集まった人たちが近況や気になっていることを持ち寄り、30分ほど自由に話しています。

今回のOPEN DAYは、その「いつもの対話」を知り、新たな人にも加わってもらうきっかけの日。特別なプログラムを用意するのではなく、普段の雰囲気を一緒に味わい、気に入ったら、その後の毎週の対話にもふらっと来てもらえたら。そんな思いで、いつもより少し広く声をかけました。

毎週の昼休みに、話せる場所がある

始まりは、近況と今の気分をひと言ずつ伝えるチェックインから。

少し気分を切り替えたい人。「余白」という言葉が気になった人。知り合いに誘われて顔を出した人。今回も、いろいろな分野で働いたり、活動したりしている人たちが集まりました。お昼ごはんを食べながらでも、声を出さずに聞いているだけでも大丈夫です。

話題も、たどり着く答えも、細かく決めすぎません。この1か月にも、コミュニティの続け方から、AIとの付き合い方、働き方まで、さまざまな話が出てきました。誰かの実感に、別の人の経験や疑問が重なって、会話が動いていきます。

答えが出ない日もあります。それでも、「そんな見方もあるんだ」が残ったり、前に話したことの続きを持ってきたりできる。

一回で話を終わらせなくても、また話せる場所がある。そんな毎週の積み重ねを、今回のOPEN DAYでは初めての人とも一緒に過ごしました。

対話のあとには、ヨハクさんからコメントが届く

毎週の対話には、もう一つ、ちょっと変わった楽しみがあります。それは、対話のあとに届くヨハクさんからのコメントです。

ヨハクさんは、書籍『ヨハクさん、いる？』に登場する、猫の姿をしたやさしい妖怪。正解を教える先生ではなく、急ぎすぎている人にお茶をすすめ、問いをそっと残してくれる存在です。

その視点を借り、AIの力も使いながら、その日の対話を振り返っています。決定事項や宿題を並べるのではなく、「今日は、こんなことを話していたんじゃないかな」と、少し違う角度から眺めるコメントです。

例えば、コミュニティについて話したあとには、こんな問いが残りました。

この場では、誰が、何をしなくてもいいんだろう。

その言葉を翌週に持ち寄って、また話してみる。もちろん、別の話に進んでも大丈夫です。

自由に話して終わり。でも、話したことは消えてしまわない。

コメントを読んで少し考えたり、誰かに話したくなったり。その小さな続きが、また次の対話へつながっていきます。

「それ、面白そう」から、知らない世界が近づいてくる

9月28日も、お昼ごはんの話から、食や心身の調子、それぞれの活動や、これから開く場の紹介へと話が広がりました。

以前、同じ場所に参加していたことを思い出したり、共通の知り合いがいるとわかったり。同じ組織にいるのに知らなかった人の活動を、外のつながりから教えてもらう場面もありました。

紹介されるのは、完成した企画だけではありません。「一緒にやることにはなったけれど、これからどうしよう」という途中の相談も、そのまま置いてみる。

そこに誰かの経験や言葉が添わると、知らなかった場所が身近になり、もう少し話してみたい相手が見えてきます。最後には、楽しかった、元気をもらった、目的を決めずに集うことが新鮮だった、という感想も聞かれました。

OPEN DAYのあとも、対話は続いていく

これまでに重ねてきた対話や経験は、書籍『ヨハクさん、いる？』にもつながっています。今回は、その本を読んだことが参加のきっかけになった人もいました。

対話が本になり、本や知り合いの誘いを通じて、新しい人が場を知る。OPEN DAYで一緒に過ごしてみて、また話したくなったら、毎週の対話に顔を出す。そこで知った人や活動と、別の場所でつながることもある。

OPEN DAYは、一度きりの交流で終わる日ではなく、続いている対話への入り口です。

ただ、毎週参加する義務はありません。時間が合うときだけでも、聞いているだけでも大丈夫。知った活動すべてに参加したり、すぐ協力を約束したりする必要もありません。

いろいろな分野の人が自由に話す。少し気づきが残り、ヨハクさんからコメントが届く。また話したくなったら、集まってみる。

その行き来の中で、少しずつ何かが始まっていく。場づくりって、案外こんなところから始まるのかもしれません。

余白があると、つながりの入り口が増えるね。

また来週でも、少し先の、時間が合う日でも。

Report from the First “Yohaku-san, Want to Join?” Community Lab Open Day

On September 28, 2026, Creative Guild opened its regular lunchtime dialogue, “Yohaku-san, Want to Join?”, to a wider group for the first Community Lab Open Day.

The dialogue itself is not a one-off event. It takes place every week for around 30 minutes, with participants bringing whatever is on their minds: recent experiences, questions, work, community activities, AI, or simply how they are feeling that day.

The Open Day was designed as an easy entry point into that ongoing conversation. Rather than creating a special program, we invited new participants to experience the usual atmosphere and return whenever the timing feels right.

A Place to Talk During the Middle of Everyday Life

Each session begins with a short check-in. Some participants join during lunch, some want a small change of pace, and others simply listen without speaking.

The topic and destination are not tightly predetermined. Over the past month, conversations have moved from how communities continue, to how people work with AI, to what it means to protect enough space to think and connect.

Not every conversation produces an answer. What matters is that a different perspective may remain, and that there will be another place to continue the conversation next week.

After the Dialogue, Yohaku-san Leaves a Comment

There is one slightly unusual part of this weekly rhythm. After each dialogue, a short reflection arrives in the voice of Yohaku-san, a gentle cat-like character from the book Yohaku-san, Iru?.

With the help of AI, the conversation is revisited from Yohaku-san’s perspective—not as meeting minutes or a list of action items, but as a way of noticing what might have been sitting underneath the conversation.

What might people be allowed not to do in this space?

A question like this can travel into the next session, or the group may move somewhere completely different. The conversation is free, but it does not simply disappear.

“That Sounds Interesting” Can Become a New Entrance

On the Open Day, the conversation moved naturally from lunch and wellbeing to different activities, places, and ideas people were involved in.

Someone remembered a previous connection. Another discovered an activity happening close to them that they had never known about. Even unfinished ideas could be placed on the table without having to arrive as polished proposals.

When a person’s experience is added to information, an unfamiliar place becomes a little easier to approach. A new connection does not need to become an immediate collaboration. Sometimes it is enough to think, “I would like to hear more about that.”

The Dialogue Continues After the Open Day

The conversations behind this series have also contributed to the book Yohaku-san, Iru?, and for one participant the book itself became an invitation into the Open Day.

Conversation becomes a record. A record brings someone new into the conversation. Someone meets a person or discovers an activity and connects again somewhere else.

The Open Day is not the end of an event. It is an entrance into an ongoing dialogue.

There is no obligation to attend every week. You can come when you have time, listen quietly, or simply take home the feeling that something was interesting.

People from different fields talk freely. A small question remains. Yohaku-san leaves a comment. And when someone wants to continue, there is a place to return to.

When there is white space, there are more entrances to connection.
