港区を起点にいろんなところで働く・暮らす、楽しい時間を創りたい人たちによるコミュニティCreative Guild。このギルド名鑑ではそんなCreative Guildでつながったユニークな方々をご紹介しています。今回ご紹介するのはイベントアクセラレーターの西舘 聖哉さん。自ら一歩を踏み出し、当事者として関わり続ける姿勢で、フラットな未来への道をひらいています。その実践は、新たな可能性に挑戦する人たちの背中をそっと押しながら、それを支えるコミュニティの輪を静かに、けれど確かな熱をもって広げています。

株式会社Weavent代表取締役として、リアルとオンラインを融合したイベント設計や、コミュニティを起点とした価値共創を推進している西舘さん。現在は、富士通が運営するUvance Innovation Studio（UIS）のコミュニティマネージャーとしても、多様な人々が越境しながら学び合う“共創の場”を育んでいます。また、武蔵野大学アントレプレナーシップ研究所 客員研究員として、実践知と理論知を架橋し、次世代の起業家・実践者を支援。誰もが学び、成長するためのきっかけをパラレルに届け続けています。

西舘さんの基軸にあるのは、「人は変わっていける」という信念です。けれどもそのためには前に一歩踏み出す勇気が不可欠です。だからこそ、社会の中で上下や立場の差を超えて、一人ひとりが自分の“やりたい”を起点に挑戦できるフラットな関係性＝コミュニティを重要視。なぜなら、このコミュニティがあるからこそ、自らが当事者として動き、試行錯誤を通じて学びを共有し、新しい可能性の扉を開いていけるからです。そしてその連鎖は確実に組織を変え、社会を変えていくインパクトへもつながっていきます。

DXやイノベーションといったキーワードが象徴するように、現代社会は大きな転換期にあります。一方でその変革は一筋縄ではいきません。従来の組織や社会の制度を変えるだけでなく、個々人の考え方・価値観からの変容が求められます。むしろ個々人の根源的な部分の変容がなければ、形骸化した取り組みに終わる。しかしながらそのための一歩を踏み出すこと、つまりリスクを取ることには大きな不安も付きまといます。

だからこそ、西舘さんが提供するようなコミュニティによるサポートが不可欠なのです。一人で不安なときも、多様なつながりの中で学び合い、できるところから、したたかに・しなやかに挑戦していけば、きっと可能性は拓けていく。なによりも、そのプロセスを“楽しい”と感じながら、前向きに未来へ進んでいけること。Creative Guildの場でも、ぜひ西舘さんがそうしているように、フラットな未来に踏み出すきっかけを、みんなで共有していきたいですね。

Expanding the Circle of Community with Event Accelerator Seiya Nishidate

Creative Guild is a community of people who live and work across various places, starting from Minato City, and who share the desire to create “fun” experiences. In this Guild Directory, we highlight the unique individuals connected through Creative Guild. This time, we feature Seiya Nishidate, an event accelerator who takes initiative, stays deeply engaged as an active participant, and opens pathways toward a more flat and inclusive future.

His quiet yet passionate practice gently encourages those stepping into new possibilities, while expanding the circle of communities that support them. As the CEO of Weavent Inc., Nishidate designs hybrid events that bridge the real and online worlds, creating spaces for value co-creation through communities. He also serves as Community Manager at Fujitsu’s Uvance Innovation Studio (UIS) , where he cultivates a collaborative environment where diverse people learn and grow across boundaries. In addition, as a Visiting Researcher at Musashino University’s Institute for Entrepreneurship, he connects theory and practice to support the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators—delivering learning and growth opportunities in parallel across fields and communities.

At the core of Nishidate’s philosophy is the belief that “people can change.” Yet, true change begins with the courage to take the first step forward. That’s why he values flat relationships—connections that transcend hierarchy and status, empowering each person to act on what they truly want to do. When such connections exist, individuals can take ownership, experiment, learn, and share those learnings with others—opening new doors of possibility. This chain of personal action, in turn, transforms organizations and society itself.

As keywords like DX and innovation symbolize, we live in a time of profound transformation. But real transformation is not simple. It requires not only new systems and structures, but a shift in how individuals think, feel, and act. Without that inner transformation, any initiative risks becoming hollow. Still, taking that first step—taking a risk—can be daunting. 

That’s why the kind of community support Nishidate fosters is essential. Even when we feel uncertain or alone, we can learn from one another and take small, steady, and flexible steps forward.
