セノグラファー 原 良輔さんが探究する”体験の共有”

港区を起点にいろんなところで働く・暮らす、楽しい時間を創りたい人たちによるコミュニティCreative Guild。今回ご紹介するのは、ひとと社会を空間で橋渡しするセノグラファーで一級建築士の原 良輔さん。建築と舞台芸術を横断し、体験を通じた“共有”を探究することで、誰もが参加できる開かれた場と新しい光景を創り出しています。

原さんは兵庫県出身。九州大学で建築を学び、大学院在学中に休学して、三井嶺建築設計事務所にて実務経験を積みました。その後、大学院に復学し修士課程を修了。現在は演劇空間「ロッカクナット」を主宰し、舞台美術やイベント空間を中心に多彩な活動を展開。GOOD DESIGN NEWHOPE AWARD 2023やJID AWARD 2023をはじめ数々の賞を受賞しています。代表作『竹箆舎-TAKENOYA-』では、竹林に竹構造のパビリオンを建設し野外演劇に見られるように、地域の固有性に着目し、その場所にしか存在し得ない「光景」を創る活動も展開。さらに、2025年11月24日に増上寺で行われる若手アーティストのイベント「ONE STAGE CONCERT」では、畳一畳のステージ制作を手掛けています

そんな原さんが大切にしているのは「共有」を軸とした空間づくりです。空間を人と社会をつなぐ中間点と捉え、ひと・もの・ことを総合的にデザインすることで、体験を通じた文化の橋渡しを実現しようとしています。その根底にあるのは、感性を解放し合い、誰もが自然体で楽しみ、前向きに学びあえる関係性を広げること。個人の世界観やアイデンティティを尊重しながら、異なる文化や価値観を共有し、新しい可能性を連続的に創発する姿勢こそが、原さんの探究の中心にあります。

効率性や金銭的価値が重要視される昨今、人的資本経営などの言葉はあるものの、体験や感性に投資する発想はまだまだ乏しい現状があります。”楽しむこと”を後回しにし、感性を閉ざして、ひたすらにがまんをする。その結果、足元にあったはずの大切な文化を見失い、異なる文化も表面的にしか扱えない。だからこそ原さんのように、体験を“共有”することで文化を取り戻していくアクションが、今必要なのです。

原さんの取り組みの本質は、空間を通じて人と社会を橋渡しし、文化を“共有”することにあります。それはボーダレスにつながり、知見と体験を共有していくことでもあります。だからこそ、想像を超えた可能性を創発することができる。その姿にはCreative Guildとしても学ぶべきことが少なくありません。だからこそ、原さんが創り出す空間のように、未来に向けてひとと社会を橋渡し、Creative Guildの場でも共に担っていきましょう。

Bridging People and Society Through Space:
Scenographer Ryosuke Hara’s Exploration of “Shared Experiences”

Based in Minato City, Creative Guild is a community of people who want to create fun and meaningful moments in their work and daily lives. In this Guild Directory, we introduce unique members who are connected through Creative Guild. This time, we feature scenographer and licensed architect Ryosuke Hara, who bridges people and society through space. By crossing the worlds of architecture and performing arts and exploring “sharing” through lived experiences, he creates open spaces and new landscapes where anyone can participate.

Mr. Hara is originally from Hyogo Prefecture. He studied architecture at Kyushu University and, during his graduate studies, took a leave of absence to gain practical experience at Rei Mitsui Architects. He later returned to graduate school and completed his master’s degree. He now leads the theater group Rokkaku-natto, working across stage design and event spaces, and has received numerous accolades including the GOOD DESIGN NEWHOPE AWARD 2023 and the JID AWARD 2023. One of his representative works, Takenoya, involved constructing a bamboo pavilion within a bamboo forest to host outdoor performances, highlighting local distinctiveness and creating landscapes that could exist only in that specific place. Looking ahead, he is also producing a one-tatami-mat stage for the young artists’ event ONE STAGE CONCERT, to be held at Zojoji Temple on November 24, 2025.

At the heart of Hara’s work is the creation of spaces centered on “sharing.” He sees space as an intermediary that connects people and society, and through designing the totality of people, objects, and experiences, he aims to build cultural bridges through shared encounters. Underpinning this is a commitment to opening up sensibilities, fostering natural joy, and cultivating relationships where everyone can learn positively together. By respecting individual worldviews and identities while sharing across different cultures and values, Hara continually sparks new possibilities—this stance lies at the very core of his exploration.

In today’s world, where efficiency and monetary value are prioritized, terms like “human capital management” are gaining attention, yet the idea of investing in experiences and sensibilities remains underdeveloped. Enjoyment is often postponed, sensibilities are shut down, and people endure in silence. As a result, precious cultural assets close at hand are forgotten, and different cultures are treated only superficially. This is precisely why actions like Hara’s—restoring culture through “shared experiences”—are so urgently needed today.

The essence of Hara’s practice is to bridge people and society through space and to “share” culture. This means connecting beyond borders, and exchanging both knowledge and lived experience. It is through this that unimaginable possibilities emerge. His approach offers much for Creative Guild to learn from as well. Just like the spaces he creates, let us also work together to bridge people and society toward the future—and carry that mission forward within the Creative Guild community.
