本多さんは東京都済生会中央病院で企画課長／広報室長として、病院経営を支える縁の下の力持ち。一方で異分野との連携を模索し、身体的・精神的に加え“社会的な健康”のあり方を地域と共に探求。組織の壁を越えてそれぞれの想いと知恵をつなぎながら、現実的な視点で経済性と社会性のバランスをとり、守るべきものを守りながら新たな挑戦を後押ししています。

そんな本多さんが大切にするのは、違いを楽しみ、受け入れるマインドです。いろんな人がいて、いろんな考えがあり、いろんな可能性がある。その中のどれが良いかを選ぶのではなく、それぞれの良さを組み合わせて、関わる一人ひとりにとって心地よい状態を創り出していく。つまりそれは、トレードオフなき創発です。そのために対話の場も重要視。論理的な整理と直感的な共感を意識しながら一人一人の想いに寄り添い、紡ぎ続けています。

一方で現実に目を向けると、私たちは無意識に自分自身の健康を犠牲にしているかもしれません。高度化・複雑化する社会の要請で業務は雪だるま式に増え、現場は日々の対応に追われ、本来の目的や望む状態を見失い、違いを楽しみ受け入れる余裕もなくなっていく。結果として組織の成熟や事業成果などを得られず、経営的な成長も逃してしまう。そんな負のスパイラルにはまり込んでいる方は、実は少なくないのではないでしょうか。

Takuya Honda’s Drive for Emergent Co-Creation without Trade-Offs at Tokyo Saiseikai Central Hospital

In this Guild Directory, we highlight the unique individuals connected through Creative Guild. This time, we are delighted to feature Takuya Honda from Tokyo Saiseikai Central Hospital. With a focus on contributing to both community management and health, he is working to create spaces for emergent co-creation where economic viability and social value are not at odds—and where everyone can engage with ease.

Mr. Honda serves as Planning Manager and Head of Public Relations at Saiseikai Central Hospital, playing a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting hospital management. At the same time, he is exploring collaborations across fields, rethinking not only physical and mental health but also social health together with the community. By bridging organizational boundaries and connecting diverse ideas and perspectives, he seeks to balance economic efficiency and social contribution with a pragmatic lens—protecting what must be preserved, while encouraging new challenges.

At the heart of Mr. Honda’s values is a mindset of embracing and enjoying differences. There are many kinds of people, ideas, and possibilities. Instead of choosing which is best, he combines the strengths of each, creating a state that feels comfortable for everyone involved. This is what he calls emergent co-creation without trade-offs. To achieve this, he places great importance on dialogue—listening closely to each person’s intentions, weaving them together through both logical clarity and intuitive empathy.

Yet if we look at reality, many of us may be unconsciously sacrificing our own well-being. In today’s complex, high-pressure society, workloads continue to snowball. On the ground, people are overwhelmed by daily demands, losing sight of original goals and desired states, and left with little capacity to embrace and enjoy differences. As a result, organizations miss opportunities for maturity, businesses fall short of their potential, and growth slips away. This negative spiral may be trapping more people than we realize.

So how can we break free from this spiral? For Mr. Honda, the answer lies in emergent co-creation without trade-offs.
