港区を起点にいろんなところで働く・暮らす、楽しい時間を創りたい人たちによるコミュニティCreative Guild。このギルド名鑑ではそんなCreative Guildでつながったユニークな方々をご紹介しています。今回ご紹介するのは、株式会社キャンパスクリエイト 専務取締役 須藤 慎さん。産学官連携の現場から知のエコシステムを築いていくために、人をつなぎ、技術を活かし、社会に実装する共創の取り組みを、多様なコミュニティを通じて推進しています。

須藤さんが専務取締役を務める株式会社キャンパスクリエイトは、電気通信大学のTLO（技術移転機関）として1999年に設立されました。須藤さん自身も、大学の研究成果を社会に実装し、企業や行政と連携しながら課題解決を推進してきた実践者です。さらに広域でのオープンイノベーション施策にも力を入れ、港区立産業振興センターの立ち上げをはじめ、各地域のイノベーション創出にも尽力。産学官をつなぐハブとして、人・技術・社会を結ぶ新しい共創モデルをプロデュースしています。

そんな須藤さんが大事にしているのは、技術の価値。技術は単なる手段ではなく、人と社会を未来へ導くための知の結晶です。その本質をいかに理解し、育て、社会を豊かにするために活かしていくか、大学や企業、自治体などに関わる中で、その問いを須藤さんは探求し続けています。また、分野を超えて知を共有し、次の世代へ継承していくことで、空間と時間を超えた循環＝エコシステムを築くことを重視。そのための要となる「立場や組織を超えた人間的対話」を、丁寧に重ねてきています。

現在、AIに代表されるように急速な技術革新が進んでいます。それは新しい体験を私たちにもたらし、生活を豊かにする可能性を広げています。一方で、効率性や短期的な視点、利己的な利益確保といった思考に陥るリスクもあります。重要なのは、須藤さんのように「技術そのもの」だけでなく、それを使う“人”と、その価値を活かす“社会のあり方”を問うこと。そして、そのために対話を通じて学び合い、共に考えられる「人づくり」と「場づくり」が、今まさに求められているのです。

人の最大の武器は「知」です。それは無限に増やすことができ、誰とでも共有し、さまざまな形で活かすことができます。重要なのは、その「知」が創造され続け、共有され続ける循環、すなわちエコシステムを築き、守っていくこと。須藤さんはまさにその実践者です。Creative Guildの場も、そんな須藤さんと共に未来志向で進む「知の創造と共有のコミュニティ」として、“楽しい”から新しい未来を始めていきたいですね。

Creative Guild is a community of people who live and work across various places, starting from Minato City, and who share the desire to create joyful experiences. In this Guild Directory, we highlight the unique individuals connected through Creative Guild. This time, we feature Mr. Shin Sudo, Executive Managing Director of Campus Create Inc., who promotes co-creation across industry, academia, and government—linking people, applying technology, and realizing innovation in society through diverse communities.

Founded in 1999 as the Technology Licensing Organization (TLO) of the University of Electro-Communications, Campus Create Inc. has long served as a bridge between academia and industry. Mr. Sudo himself is a hands-on practitioner who has consistently driven the social implementation of academic research by collaborating with corporations and public institutions. He has also advanced large-scale open-innovation initiatives, including the launch of the Minato City Industrial Promotion Center, and has supported the creation of regional innovation ecosystems. Acting as a hub connecting industry, academia, and government, he continues to design new co-creation models that unite people, technology, and society.

What Mr. Sudo values most is the true worth of technology. For him, technology is not merely a means—it is a crystallization of knowledge that guides humanity and society toward the future. Through his work with universities, companies, and municipalities, he constantly explores how we can understand, nurture, and apply technology to enrich our communities. He also emphasizes the importance of sharing knowledge across disciplines and passing it on to the next generation—building an ecosystem that transcends time and space. Central to this vision is cultivating human-to-human dialogue that transcends roles and organizations, a practice he continues with great care.

Today, technological innovation—symbolized by AI—is progressing at unprecedented speed. It offers us new experiences and expands the possibilities of a richer life. Yet it also carries the risk of fostering short-term, efficiency-driven, or self-serving mindsets.
What truly matters, as Mr. Sudo reminds us, is not just the technology itself but the people who use it and the societal systems that shape its value. That is why nurturing people who can learn and think together through dialogue—and creating spaces that foster such interaction—has become more vital than ever.

Humanity’s greatest strength is knowledge. It can be infinitely expanded, shared with anyone, and expressed in countless ways. The key is to build and sustain a cycle in which this knowledge is continuously created and shared—a living ecosystem of wisdom. Mr. Sudo embodies this practice.
