アレックスさんはニューヨーク出身で、2007年に来日。かつてはプロバスケットボールのゲームなどを盛り上げるDJとして活躍していました。2017年にはインバウンド事業を手がけるGlokyoを設立し、現在は日本のユニークな商品を世界に届けるアウトバウンド事業も展開。日本企業の海外進出や、海外企業とのコラボレーションをサポートしています。また、異文化・異分野の人たちが気軽につながれるウォーキング・イベントも各地で主催し、多様性あふれるコミュニティづくりにも力を入れています。

Originally from New York, Alex came to Japan in 2007. He first made his mark as a DJ, energizing professional basketball games and other events. In 2017, he founded Glokyo, a company focused on inbound tourism. Since then, he has expanded into outbound business, introducing Japan’s unique products to the global market. His work supports both Japanese companies looking to expand overseas and international firms seeking collaboration in Japan.

In addition to his business ventures, Alex organizes walking events across Japan that bring together people from diverse cultures and disciplines in casual, open ways. These gatherings are part of his broader mission to foster vibrant, inclusive communities.

What Alex values most is enjoying the adventure of life. Rather than striving for perfection, he embraces change with a positive mindset, taking a trial-and-error approach to broaden the possibilities of the future.
