リーさんは、アメリカやオーストラリアでセールス・マーケティングの分野で活躍した後、ベトナムで英語教師としてのキャリアをスタート。その後、ご自身の経験も活かし、英語でのビジネス・コミュニケーションをはじめとする、いわゆるソフトスキルの指導に特化。現在はオムニ・イングリッシュを起業し、ビジネス・プロフェッショナル向けにリーダーシップ開発や異文化コミュニケーション力向上のためのプログラムを提供しています。また、日本人と外国人がつながり合うためのワークショップ・イベントもオープンに開催し、より広いネットワークと実践的な学びの場を創出しています。

This Guild Directory introduces unique individuals connected through Creative Guild. Today, we feature Lee Jean, an entrepreneur from the United States who is now actively engaged in Japan. He is committed to developing authentic leadership that enables Japan to reconnect with the world and embrace future challenges.

Lee began his career in sales and marketing in the U.S. and Australia before transitioning to teaching English in Vietnam. Drawing from his diverse experiences, he specialized in business communication and soft skills training in English. Currently, he has founded Omni English, where he provides leadership development and intercultural communication programs for business professionals. He also organizes open workshops and events, fostering connections between Japanese and foreign professionals and creating a broader network and a hands-on learning environment.

At the core of Lee’s mission is empowerment—giving people the confidence and courage to move forward. His approach is built on the belief that everyone has the potential to grow and that taking the first step is essential. Experiencing different cultures is one of the most effective ways to gain self-awareness and uncover new possibilities. That’s why Lee values creating spaces where people can connect across cultures on a human level.

Japanese society tends to avoid risk and adhere to precedent, making it challenging to foster diversity and embrace new challenges. For example, in 2024, Japan ranked 118th out of 146 countries in the Global Gender Gap Index (World Economic Forum) and 70th in the World Press Freedom Index (Reporters Without Borders), highlighting ongoing barriers to openness. Furthermore, a 2024 survey by the Nippon Foundation found that only 15.3% of 18-year-olds believe their country’s future will improve, reflecting widespread uncertainty about the future.

Given this reality, we have two choices:

-Take action, envision a new future, and create it together
